University Health is seeking an MLS Coordinator for UH Lakewood Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The role is full-time, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 40 hours per week, on-site at UH Lakewood Medical Center.

You will work with the Director of Laboratory Operations and the Department Supervisor to ensure policy compliance and quality in all departmental testing. The position requires a laboratory science degree with MT/ASCP certification (or MLT/ASCP for the associate pathway) and 3 years of relevant

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a lab science and MT/ASCP certification, 3 years of relevant experience
• Associate's degree plus MLT/ASCP certification, 3 years of relevant experience
• Prior qualification as a general supervisor under 42 CFR 493.1427 or eligibility as of 1992

Mansioni

• Collaborate with Director of Laboratory Operations and Department Supervisor to interpret policy and ensure policy adherence.
• Assist with personnel management and maintaining fiscal integrity of the department; participate in assuring quality of departmental testing.

Formazione

Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory/medical technology science

Associate's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory/medical technology science

Previously qualified or could of qualified as a general supervisor prior to 2/29/92 under 42 CFR 493.1427 (3/14/90)
