Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking an MLOPS Tech Lead to architect and scale enterprise analytics across commercial, supply chain, manufacturing, and other domains.

You will lead hands-on ML delivery, collaborate with Product, Data Engineering, and IT, and help drive production-grade, observable ML solutions. The role emphasizes production deployment, reliability, and measurable business impact, with potential for people leadership as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience delivering analytics or ML solutions across business domains.
• 6+ years of applying statistical and ML techniques to business problems.
• 6+ years of Python or similar language for model development.
• 6+ years of SQL, ETL, and data wrangling for analytics use cases.
• Experience deploying production ML/statistical solutions with scale and monitoring.
• 4+ years in cloud-based data/compute platforms for scalable model training and scoring.
• Experience with enterprise analytics platforms (Databricks, Azure, or similar).
• Knowledge of Agile, Git, and modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data science initiatives from discovery through deployment and monitoring.
• Translate business problems into modeling, simulation, and ML approaches for scalable production adoption.
• Design explainable, reusable, reliable analytics solutions for enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Teams, IT, and stakeholders to deliver analytics products.
• Industrialize models into production-ready components and workflows.
• Define success metrics, model health measures, and data quality checks for deployment.
• Research emerging ML/AI methods and document best practices for reuse.
• Create reusable packages and knowledge-transfer materials for the DS community.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching to Data Scientists and ML Engineers.
