Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• At least 2 years leading technologists on complex items.
• Hands-on experience in system design, app development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience with Java, Python, SQL; PostgreSQL and AWS experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction, oversight, and coaching for a team of entry-level to mid-level software engineers.
• Accountable for decisions that influence teams’ resources, budget, tactical operations, and processes.
• Sets and scales operating practices for enterprise AI-assisted engineering and SDLC/TLM automation across multiple teams.
• Applies AI-assisted dev tools to drive efficiency and reuse of firm tech assets.
• Ensures successful collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
• Identifies and mitigates issues to deliver the book of work.
• Provide input to leadership on budget, approach, and technical considerations.
