Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer to build the ML serving platform powering Prime Video personalization at scale. You will work on distributed systems and ML infra, delivering scalable services and enabling rapid model iteration with state-of-the-art tooling.

You will mentor engineers, influence technical strategy, and push best practices across the PV ML team, contributing to efficient operations and long-term platform foundations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using languages like C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Experience with at least one programming language
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

Responsibilities

• Build ML platform services with Tier-1 availability and performance.
• Evolve model serving and feature delivery infrastructure for continuous experimentation.
• Design and scale training pipelines, real-time inference systems, and feature stores for PV personalization.
• Collaborate with Scientists, PMs, and Engineers to translate research into production capabilities.
