In this Winter/Spring Co-Op (Jan–June ’27), you will develop, implement, and optimize ML models to support the design, analysis, and development of advanced acoustic and RF devices, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate is pursuing an MS or PhD in CS, EE, or data science, with a solid ML foundation and Python proficiency (C++ a plus).

Qualifications

• Pursuing MS or PhD in CS, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
• Solid foundation in machine learning, deep learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python; C++ and SQL are pluses.
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras).
• Familiarity with data analysis and scientific computing libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn).
• Cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience building ML workflows, data pipelines, or scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Apply ANN and ML techniques to support microwave CAD and semiconductor design projects.
• Develop and evaluate ANN-based models for acoustic devices, EM analysis, and parametric modeling.
• Assist in data-driven models for RF design and performance prediction.
• Support neural network-based multiphysics modeling of electrical, acoustic, thermal, and mechanical interactions.
• Collect, clean, and preprocess structured, unstructured, time-series, and image data.
• Perform EDA, feature engineering, and data visualization to improve model accuracy.
• Build and optimize LLM-powered agents with tool integration and workflow automation.
• Research AI/ML developments and apply them to semiconductor design and manufacturing.
