Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a DevOps Software Engineer to support OCR, ML, and AI services at a government-aligned archive platform located at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM. You will architect infrastructure, implement CI/CD for ML models, and ensure reliable, scalable operations.

The role blends DevOps with AI/ML infrastructure, focusing on transformer deployments, observability, and secure, automated workflows.

Qualifications

• Four plus (4+) years relevant DevOps/Software Engineering experience OR Two plus (2+) years relevant DevOps/Software Engineering experience with relevant degree (e.g Computer Science, Software Engineering).
• Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ Certification (within 6 weeks of starting)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain infrastructure supporting OCR, ML, AI services that search, organize and characterize digital archive collections.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for model deployment and ensure high availability of the archive platform.
• Develop containerized microservices and monitoring for ML pipelines and data processing.
