Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking Machine Learning Engineering Interns for the Data Science and AI Department (DSAID) within ISCD. This full-time, on-site internship can be based in El Segundo, CA, Chantilly, VA, or Colorado Springs, CO.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited program pursuing a Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks and return to program full-time afterwards.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.
• Bachelor's degree completed by internship start date.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (PyTorch).
• Experience with container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with ML/AI, software engineering, and statistics.
• Familiarity with MLops concepts (MLFlow, DVC).
• Experience in CV or NLP applications using ML models.
• Experience using GPUs to scale ML workloads.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine learning and data science experiments in NLP, CV, time series, and RL domains.
• Evaluate data science models for scalable, mission-critical applications.
