Job summary

Vantor is seeking a talented engineer to design, develop, and deploy CV pipeline components for geospatial tasks. You will implement synthetic data generation using generative AI and perform data engineering to support ML workflows across cloud and on-prem environments.

The role requires hands-on ML model training, inference pipelines, and containerized services with Kubernetes. TS/SCI clearance is required and US citizenship is essential.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph is required.
• 5+ years of programming experience in one or more general purpose languages.
• 2+ years of design/architecture leadership for large systems.
• 2+ years in ML/data engineering or related backend roles.
• Experience deploying ML models in production and building ML pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy CV pipeline components (image preprocessing, training, inference).
• Implement synthetic data generation for GEOINT data using generative AI.
• Transform diverse data types for AI/ML workflow support.
• Stay current with CV/ML advances and apply to mission problems.
• Brief internal teams on progress, results, and challenges.
