Vantor is seeking an experienced AI/ML engineer to work across the full analytical workflow—from data acquisition and model development to pipeline evaluation, application prototyping, and hardware-based solution implementation.

The role involves architecting novel data science and AI/ML solutions, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and providing SME mentorship to government and internal teams on AI/ML trends and delivery strategies.

Competenze

• U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI and CI polygraph
• B.S. in Statistics, Math, Data Science, CS, Engineering, Physics, or related field
• 5+ years designing, developing, deploying AI/ML models across diverse data modalities
• 2+ years time series analysis, spatial trajectory analytics, or state estimation
• Strong experience with Python/TS/Java/C/C++
• Proficiency with Python data science stack (PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, scikit-learn) and geospatial libraries (GDAL, GeoPandas, Shapely)
• Experience with remote sensing and geospatial datasets, including EO/SAR imagery, and familiarity with government collection platforms
• Experience with version control and CI/CD
• Strong communication skills (writing and speaking)

• Architect, develop, and integrate novel data science and AI/ML solutions (e.g., spatio-temporal ML, data fusion, and semantic enrichment)
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary AI/ML engineering teams to design, implement, and evaluate ML solutions that leverage multi-INT data (RF emphasis)
• Engineer and transform diverse data modalities to support all phases of the AI/ML workflow
• Design, implement, and assess various geospatial AI/ML solutions across hardware and software stacks
• Stay current on AI/ML advancements and apply to government mission challenges
• Support program execution by providing SME mentorship and strategic advice to government and internal teams on AI/ML trends, approaches, and delivery strategies
• Communicate progress, results, risks, and challenges to government clients, partners, and project leadership
