Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is seeking a Senior Platform Scientist to lead the PaCI team's risk architecture across the US domain, driving end-to-end integrity for TikTok and affiliates using AI-enabled solutions.

You will design scalable ML infrastructure, work with Python/C++/Go, and leverage transformer and graph-based models to solve complex risk challenges with multimodal data. On-site collaboration is required in the US, up to five days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• Solid foundation in Machine Learning; proficient in Transformer and GNN architectures for large-scale integrity challenges.
• Strong engineering and coding skills in Python, C++, or Go; familiar with Spark/Flink and PyTorch.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a global, cross-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the algorithmic architecture and governance for TikTok US risk domains across key areas including account integrity and content safety.
• Build high-precision risk representation models using large heterogeneous data to enable cross-scenario risk perception.
• Research and counter global adversarial threats; architect self-evolving defense systems against data drift.
• Drive integration of Generative AI and Multimodal technologies into risk lifecycle; balance precision with automated enforcement.
