TikTok is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer Graduate for 2027 start in Seattle to join the E-commerce Global Supply Chain & Logistics team. You will build AI-native capabilities for logistics, including agents, LLM model development, and integration with forecasting and decision systems.

Qualifications

• PhD in AI, CS, ML or related field required or recently completed.
• Experience with LLMs, agents, RAG, tool use, post-training, evaluation or applied NLP systems.
• Strong programming ability in Python and at least one production language (Java/C++/Go/TypeScript).
• Familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.).
• Strong problem decomposition, data analysis, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop large language models, agent systems, and related intelligent systems for global e-commerce supply chain and logistics.
• Land domain LLM capabilities for e-commerce, including continued pre-training, SFT, RL, and cost optimization.
• Build multimodal understanding for logistics scenarios to support simulation and explainable predictions.
• Design agent architectures and workflows, including runtime orchestration, memory/state management, and evaluation.
• Improve context, skills, and model behavior over time through observability and online feedback loops.
