Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is seeking graduates to join the Global E-commerce AI team. You will architect and develop sophisticated LLM-based systems to process high-dimensional unstructured data from diverse sources, and help implement semantic understanding, intent classification, and entity extraction.

Proficiency in C++, Python, Go, or Java, plus experience in ML/NLP, is required. Onboarding must occur by year end. Base pay, bonuses, and RSUs are part of the total compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/Engineering/Math/Statistics or related field.
• Experience in ML, NLP, or Computer Vision.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, Go, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop LLM-based systems to process high-dimensional unstructured data from diverse sources.
• Define semantic understanding frameworks, including intent classification and entity extraction.
• Apply state-of-the-art techniques (Instruction Tuning, RLHF/DPO, Contextual Prompt Engineering).
• Optimize model serving for production with quantization, distillation, and efficient attention (e.g., FlashAttention, vLLM).
