Job summary

Expedia Group in Austin, TX invites motivated interns to join its Global Summer Internship Program as an Applied Science Intern. You will work on real ML projects, prototype models, and contribute to production-ready pipelines while gaining mentorship and professional development opportunities.

The program includes cohort onboarding, leadership exposure, and dedicated support, with a potential full-time offer after graduation. Hybrid work options and relocation support are available.

Qualifications

• Must be graduating with a Master’s degree in a technical subject between December 2027 and July 2028.
• Must have Python and/or Scala, SQL knowledge.
• Must be willing to relocate to city of job location if outside commuting distance.

Responsibilities

• Travel is the core focus of the role and you’ll contribute to ML-enabled travel solutions.
• Design, prototype, and evaluate ML models under supervision to support product features.
• Implement clean, maintainable model training and inference code following software engineering practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and product partners to translate requirements into robust ML solutions.
