Key job responsibilities
  1. Maintain and follow strict confidentiality to protect customer privacy.
  2. Work with various data types including text, speech, audio, image, and video.
  3. Deliver high-quality labeled data according to provided guidelines to meet KPIs, using in-house tools and software, supporting responsible AI development.
  4. Generate high-quality human insight data across multiple modalities: text, image, video, and audio.
  5. Make sound judgments and logical decisions when faced with ambiguous or incomplete information.
  6. Maintain attention to detail and adapt quickly to shifting requirements.
  7. Support daily operational deliverables for multiple tasks within the team.
  8. Analyze root causes, identify error patterns, and propose solutions to improve labeling quality.
  9. Identify operational issues in Standard Operating Procedures and tools, and suggest improvements.
  10. Provide floor support to clarify internal queries during task execution as needed.
A day in the life

We seek a ML Data Associate (MLDA) to perform foundational labeling tasks such as dialogue evaluation on speech, text, audio, and video data. Your focus, multi-tasking ability, and high attention to detail will help you deliver quality work while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to Amazon policies. You will join a diverse team dedicated to enhancing customer experiences with innovative generative AI solutions. A proactive mindset, individuality, and creativity are highly valued.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate’s Degree or relevant work experience
  • C1+ or equivalent fluency in the specified language (based on location)
  • Strong business writing skills for reports, proposals, and correspondence
  • Advanced reading comprehension and ability to analyze complex documents
  • Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret and follow detailed instructions across projects
  • Research skills for gathering and synthesizing information from multiple sources
  • High attention to detail in managing complex tasks and documents
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (may vary by location)
  • 2+ years of professional experience demonstrating task execution ability
  • Experience leveraging open-source resources for research
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments
  • 2-3 years of project coordination or management experience (support functions)
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships across departments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications
