Key job responsibilities
  • Maintain and follow strict confidentiality to protect customer privacy.
  • Work with various types of data including text, speech, audio, image, and video.
  • Deliver high-quality labeled data using provided guidelines and in-house tools, supporting Amazon’s commitment to responsible AI development.
  • Generate high-quality human insight data across modalities such as text, image, video, and audio.
  • Make sound judgments and logical decisions when faced with ambiguous or incomplete information.
  • Pay close attention to detail and adapt quickly to shifting requirements.
  • Support daily operational deliverables for multiple tasks within the team.
  • Analyze root causes, identify error patterns, and propose solutions to improve labeling quality.
  • Identify operational issues and suggest procedural or tool changes to improve processes.
  • Provide floor support to clarify internal queries during task execution as needed.
A day in the life

As an ML Data Associate, you will perform foundational labeling tasks such as dialogue evaluation on speech, text, audio, and video data. Your focus on concentration, multi-tasking, and attention to detail will enable you to deliver high-quality work while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to Amazon policies. You will be part of a diverse team dedicated to improving customer experiences through innovative generative AI solutions. Creativity, initiative, and individuality are highly valued.

Basic Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree or related work experience
  • Fluency in English at C1+ level or equivalent
  • Strong business writing skills for reports, proposals, and professional correspondence
  • Advanced reading comprehension and ability to analyze complex documents
  • Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret and implement detailed instructions across projects
  • Research skills for gathering and synthesizing information from multiple sources
  • Attention to detail in managing complex tasks and documents
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 2+ years of professional experience demonstrating task execution ability
  • Experience leveraging open-source resources for research
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments with changing strategies
  • 2-3 years of project coordination or management experience
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships across departments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications
