Job summary

University Corporation for Atmospheric Research seeks a Machine Learning Educational Trainer to design and deliver AI/ML training focused on Earth system science. The role develops materials, coordinates instructors, and evaluates program impact for NSF NCAR's Education, Engagement & Early-Career Development efforts.

The position supports dissemination of results through reports and publications, collaborates across teams, and engages with the broader scientific community.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline plus three years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree plus eight years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Content creation and training on AI/ML with emphasis on Earth system science.
• Develops and curates instructional materials for diverse learners.
• Coordinates technical training activities across teams and instructors.
• Represents NSF NCAR AI Program in activities and events.
• Writes reports and disseminates results from training programs.
