Job summary

University Corporation for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, CO seeks a Machine Learning Educational Trainer to design and deliver AI/ML training for Earth system science applications. You will create instructional materials, evaluate program impact, and coordinate boot camps, workshops, and seminars in collaboration with NSF NCAR.

The role requires a Master’s degree plus several years of experience, or a Bachelor’s with extensive related experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline plus three years of experience; or Bachelor’s degree plus eight years of experience; or equivalent combination.
• Proven communication, organization, and initiative across diverse backgrounds and independent problem-solving.
• Proficiency with standard PC applications and database environments; travel logistics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Content creation and training on AI/ML with emphasis on Earth system science applications.
• Develops and coordinates technical training activities and schedules events.
• Represents NCAR EdEC in program activities and disseminates results.
• Writes reports and materials summarizing training impact and lessons learned.
