We’re looking for a machine learning engineer to work on the core systems that power Rillet’s AI-driven workflows. You’ll join a growing engineering team and work closely with the CTO, product, and design to build industry-defining accounting and finance software. The role is remote first, with opportunities to travel for team events.

Responsibilities:

• Help define Rillet’s ML and AI direction for years to come.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and finance experts to define ML solutions, not just build them.
• Deeply understand user problems and find the best methodology to solve them.
• Develop automated pipelines and processes to train and evaluate models.
• Integrate ML/AI models into production systems and ensure their scalability, reliability, and performance.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in product-driven tech companies.
• Strong Python experience (numpy, pandas, sklearn, pytorch, etc.) across ML techniques and backend engineering.
• Experience with LLM-based agent frameworks.
• Can work both independently and collaboratively in a small team.
• Enjoy finding practical solutions to real user problems without compromising on quality.
• Have a passion for learning and sharing your expertise with others.
