Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Fluids Systems Engineer to work at Boeing-level depth within the MK1 Fluids Systems Engineering team. You will own subsystem analyses, develop verification data, and collaborate across fluids, propulsion, software, and operations to ensure robust system performance.

Qualifications include a B.S. in a related field and 3+ years in fluids or propulsion, with strong systems engineering skills and clear communication.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering or related technical subject area.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in fluids, propulsion, or aerospace systems.
  • Experience with fluid/gas components (valves, manifolds, regulators, pumps, instrumentation).
  • Experience with systems engineering principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful entry in the U.S. (visa status acceptable).

Responsibilities

  • Work at significant technical depth on complex subsystems within the Fluids and Propulsion IPT.
  • Own subsystem documentation and analyses with verification data.
  • Update architecture diagrams and schematics.
  • Apply systems engineering across development cycle (concept through test).
  • Integrate fluids and propulsion with overall vehicle design and operations.
  • Support component and subsystem test development and execution.
  • Lead trade studies and 1st order analysis as needed.
