Job summary

CLOVEHITCH is currently seeking qualified interpreters fluent in Mixteco to facilitate communication between minors and Care Staff at various client sites across the United States.

The role involves providing impartial and culturally sensitive interpretation, ensuring clarity and understanding. Applicants should have proficiency in English and the target language, experience in care environments, and a valid driver's license. This temporary position requires 100% travel if not residing near a site.

Qualifications

• Must have working proficiency (ILR 2+) in English and Mixteco.
• Prior experience in foster care or medical care situations is preferred.
• This position requires a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, onsite interpretation at client service sites.
• Relay important communication from Support Care Staff to minors.
• Assist minors in communicating with staff when they are not fluent in English.
