CLOVEHITCH is seeking qualified interpreters fluent in Tzotzil to support a client serving minor populations. Interpreters will facilitate accurate communication between minors and Care Staff, including in person and via telecommunication, with 24/7 availability as needed.

Requirements include ILR 2+ proficiency in English and target language, valid driver's license, and U.S. work authorization. This is a temporary, full-time role with travel across the United States.

Qualifications

• Must have working proficiency (ILR 2+) in English and the target language.
• May be required to obtain a T2 Public Trust clearance.
• Prior experience in foster care or medical care settings is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• This position is open only to individuals authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Subject to the Service Contract Act; pay and benefits are per DoL wage determinations.

Responsabilités

• Provide in-person interpretation at client service sites.
• Relay important deadlines, instructions, questions between Support Care Staff and minors.
• Assist minors in communicating concerns when not fluent in English or staff language.
• Provide translation/interpretation to orient minors to community resources.
• Assist staff with understanding the cultural context of client populations.
• Support special projects and initiatives.
