Job summary

River City Casino & Hotel in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Mixologist to craft cocktails and beverage experiences. The role requires a minimum of one year of bartending experience, a valid alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain one), and excellent guest service skills.

Day-to-day duties include cocktails, recommendations, and POS-driven orders. The position offers a starting pay of $12 per hour plus tips, with shift stability and opportunities to grow within a dynamic entertainment

As an Mixologist, you will:

Pay: $12 per hour plus tips | Shift: Thursday - Saturday, 6PM - 2AM

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Develop and recommend specialty cocktails and beverage offerings.
• Provide outstanding guest service and beverage recommendations.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, mixers, ingredients, and beverage trends.
• Verify guest age and comply with all alcohol service laws and regulations.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and exercise responsible beverage service practices.
• Process guest orders accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all bar areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stocking.
• Follow all company policies related to safety, sanitation, cash handling, and workplace conduct.
• Other duties as assigned
• Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines
• Promotes casino events and programs
• Resolves service problems according to guidelines
• Slices and pits fruit as required
• Operates and maintains all equipment and utensils as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures
