Job summary

River City Casino & Hotel is seeking a bartender to deliver fast, friendly service in a dynamic casino setting. You will set up bars, mix drinks, stock supplies, and assist bartenders while ensuring a safe, clean workstation.

You must be at least 21, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and hold ServSafe Alcohol with a valid gaming license. Strong guest communication is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
• Familiar with liquor, beer and wine products.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with guests.
• Requires ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain and maintain ServSafe Alcohol certification.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Provides fast, friendly, professional guest service.
• Sets up bars for operation and restocks as needed.
• Supports bartenders and pours non-alcoholic drinks as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of workstations and surrounding areas.
• Maintains par stock levels and assists with bar orders.

Responsibilities

• Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service.
• Adheres to established departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Sets up bars for operation; cuts fruit; stocks ice; empties garbage.
• Supports bartender needs; ices drink glasses and pours non-alcoholic drinks as needed.
• Wipes counter areas, sinks, and floors as required to maintain a clean and safe workstation.
• Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards.
• Maintains par stock levels and orders bar supplies as necessary; delivers orders.
• Maintains equipment as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures; reports any maintenance problems to manager.
• Removes and properly disposes of all refuse and debris accumulated in restaurant and service stations in accordance with departmental procedures; sorts bottles and corrugated cardboard for recycling.
• Resolves service issues according to established guidelines.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

Requirements

• Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
• Familiarity and product knowledge of liquor, beer and wine preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with guests.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification. (ServSafe Alcohol)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
