Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve classic, contemporary, and signature cocktails to a high standard across all resort bars.
• Lead the craft program, designing menus and seasonal offerings inspired by local flavors.
• Supervise and develop the bar team, ensuring technique, presentation, and guest engagement.
• Create cocktails based on guest preferences and educate guests on offerings.
• Maintain knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, liqueurs, and mixers.
• Ensure bar areas are clean, stocked, and compliant with safety policies.
• Monitor inventory and minimize waste; manage portion control.
• Support beverage service for events and private functions.
• Train staff on mixology techniques and service standards.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for a talented and outgoing Mixologist for a luxury resort in the Caribbean. This is a creative, guest-facing role at the heart of the resort's bar program, responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails, delivering warm and engaging service, and supervising the bartending teamacross all bars. The right person combines outstanding technical skill with genuine hospitality - someone who can make an exceptional drinkwhile making the guest feel equally well taken care of.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Prepare and serve classic, contemporary, and signature cocktails to a consistently high standard across all resort bars
• Lead the craft cocktail program, designing innovative menus and seasonal beverage offerings that reflect creativity and local inspiration
• Supervise and inspire the bartending team, setting the standard for technique, presentation, and guest engagement
• Create and recommend cocktails based on individual guest preferences, delivering a personalised experience
• Maintain deep knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, liqueurs, and mixers to guide and educate guests
• Ensure bar areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times
• Follow standardized recipes while bringing creative flair, maintaining consistency in preparation and presentation
• Monitor inventory, communicate replenishment needs, and minimize waste through proper portion control
• Ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with resort policies and local requirements
• Support beverage service for events, private functions, and special guest experiences
• Train and develop the bar team on mixology techniques, product knowledge, and service standards

WHAT YOU BRING

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mixologist or senior bartender in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end bar environment
• Forbes Travel Guide experience is mandatory
• Caribbean experience is strongly preferred and will be a key consideration in the selection process
• Exceptional cocktail knowledge and technical skill across spirits, flavour pairing, and bar technique
• A creative, innovative mindset with a proven track record of developing compelling beverage menus
• A vibrant, outgoing personality with strong communication skills and a professional, polished appearance
• Natural ability to connect with guests and create genuinely memorable experiences at the bar
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising and developing a bar team
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to consistency and presentation
• Mixology or bartending certification is a strong asset
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Competitive salary plus service charge of approximately USD $1,000 - $2,000 per month, depending on hours and occupancy
