Morgan's Cove is seeking a skilled bartender to join our team in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. You will craft classic and tropical cocktails, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and uphold brand standards. Training and growth opportunities are available as you build a career in mixology.

Ideal candidates have bartending experience, recognized food/alcohol certification, and the stamina to work long shifts. English proficiency and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Bartender experience in high-volume settings preferred.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food/alcohol certification as required by state law.
• Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with high-level service to generate new and repeat business.
• Craft handcrafted cocktails aligned with brand recipes.
• Promote products with extensive knowledge of food, beverages and menus.

Learn a whole new aspect of the trade at Morgan's Cove where we focus on The Classics as well as Tropical Cocktails (aka Rhum Rhapsodies ala Don the Beachcomber). No previous knowledge of these topics necessary but is encouraged. Work alongside notable experts in the field and continue training for a career in mixology with us. Learn about the history behind these drinks, as well as technique, flavor profiles, unusual and house made ingredients. Our menu will feature a variety of spirit forward classics and rum based 'tiki drinks'. P.S. Check your attitudes at the door cause at MC "if you can't get to paradise, we'll bring paradise to you!" Get ready to ensure everyone who comes through our doors as a guest will leave as a friend by being your authentic self.

Our Mixologist are Responsible for:

• Providing our guests with the highest level of service standards to create new and repeat business and avoid guest complaints
• Creating stunning, handcrafted cocktails that align with brand recipes
• Promoting our products to guests by communicating with extensive product knowledge on food, beverage and promotional menus.
• Financial accountability during their shift, including consistent bar inventories to ensure balanced funds
• Ensuring our bars are ready to serve guests by stocking, opening and tapping all bar supplies
• Being aware of and abiding by food safety practices and liquor service laws, including not overserving guests or serving underage Guests.
