Continental in Clinton, Mississippi, is seeking a Mixing Crew Member to operate and assist with rubber mixing processes, ensure accurate material measurements, maintain product quality, and adhere to safety, environmental, and production requirements in a fast-paced plant.

You will monitor weight specifications, use Mixing Management Systems (MMS), exchange pallets and containers, troubleshoot downtime, and support shift leaders while following all safety policies.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• WorkKeys Silver certification level required.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read and understand specifications and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to perform calculations, measurements and documentation related to production processes.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and assist with industrial mixing equipment.
• Monitor compound weight measurements and ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards.
• Use Mixing Management Systems (MMS) to support production processes.
• Exchange pallets, containers and trolleys to maintain production flow.
• Apply weight tolerances and standards to maintain product quality.
• Troubleshoot machine cycle issues and minimize downtime.
• Operate forklifts safely to transport materials.
• Verify recipe measurements and maintain material handling procedures.
• Read specifications and use hand tools and gauging devices to monitor quality.
• Respond quickly to equipment malfunctions and notify supervision of downtime or unusual conditions.
• Perform both automatic and manual control panel functions.
• Comply with plant, environmental, quality, and safety policies.
