Job summary

Continental Corporation is seeking a Mixing Crew Member to operate and assist with rubber mixing processes, ensuring accurate measurements and high quality standards. You will support equipment operation and follow safety, environmental, and production requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will monitor weight measurements, use MMS systems, manage material handling, troubleshoot downtime, and work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• WorkKeys Silver certification required.
• Willing to rotate 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to read and follow specifications and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates and assists with rubber mixing equipment according to recipes.
• Monitors compound weight measurements to ensure quality.
• Uses MMS to support production processes and accuracy.
• Exchanges pallets and containers to maintain flow.
• Applies weight tolerances to maintain product consistency.
• Troubleshoots machine issues to minimize downtime.
• Operates forklifts safely to move materials.
• Verifies recipe measurements and material handling procedures.
• Reads specifications and uses hand tools to monitor quality.
• Responds to equipment malfunctions and notifies supervision.
• Performs automatic and manual control panel functions.
• Complies with plant, environmental, quality, and safety policies.
• Assists shift leaders with additional operational duties.
