Join our production team as a Mixing Operator and become a key player in creating our high-quality products. You will be responsible for the entire mixing process, from setting up and operating the equipment to ensuring quality control and performing basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Strict adherence to all safety procedures for handling flammable solvents is essential.
• Set up and operate coating machines for production schedules and job specifications.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper feeding and alignment through the machine.
• Must adhere to detailed written instructions for handling flammable solvents, resins, and solid chemicals. (Respirator required)
• Monitor machine operation, adjusting settings for factors like speed, temperature, and coating thickness as needed.
• Perform changeovers, including carts and Cylinder prep, roll changes, and material transfers (forklift, pallet jack, dolly).
• Perform basic cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks on coating equipment.
• Conduct quality control checks on coated materials, adhering to established standards and procedures.
• Maintain accurate production parameters and complete necessary paperwork.
• Maintain communication with other departments.
• Other duties as required.
