Mixing Center Supervisor Summary

Full-time | Monday – Friday 1st Shift

Superintends all Mixing Center activities and employees. Ensures accurate picking, shipments, and appropriate handling of merchandise. Familiar with a variety of mixing center concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required. The Mixing Center Supervisor reports directly to the Mixing Center Operations Manager.

Mixing Center Supervisor Duties

• Monitors and evaluates performance of direct reports
• Ensures accuracy and documentation of all outbound shipments
• Performs operations and safety checks on all powered industrial trucks
• Promotes and enforces workplace safety protocol for department/branch
• Provides training on processes and procedures for 2nd shift employees
• Communicates business plans and departmental goals and objectives
• Other duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager
  
  

Mixing Center Supervisor Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years warehouse operations experience or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years of inventory control and SKU management experience
• High degree of attention to detail
• Able to perform light to heavy physical tasks; able to lift 50 lbs. safely
• Collaborates with all levels within the organization
• Proficiently operates a variety of powered industrial trucks
• Comfortable with exposure to environmental conditions (e.g. heat/cold; noise, dust)
• Comfortable with heights (25’-30’)

• Strong preference for candidates with experience in picking or shipment of products
