Job summary

Lauren Concrete is seeking a dependable Driver to deliver concrete from Plant 17 Prairie View to job sites in Hemsptead, TX. You will perform pre-trip inspections, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.

The role requires a Texas Class B CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test. 1–3 years of related experience is preferred, with the flexibility to work varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to report to work on time and consistently.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Capable of handling physical tasks and lifting up to 45–70 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and obtain a medical card.

Responsibilities

• Display a professional appearance and demeanor with customers.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure equipment is safe.
• Verify job site address prior to departure and maintain clean truck interiors/exteriors.
• Oversee loading, delivery, and unloading of concrete, including related paperwork.
• Perform post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Understand operation of Electronic Logging Device (ELD).

Actively promotes a work environment within the Operations Department that consistently delivers a World Class Experience during the delivery of the concrete. Responsible for delivering quality concrete safely and efficiently while adhering to all Federal, State, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Display a positive attitude, a professional appearance and demeanor on all jobs with all customers, both internally and externally.
• Perform pre‑trip inspections: clean windshield, side windows, mirrors and cameras each time before leaving the plant or job site, check for fluid leaks, and consult Driver Vehicle Inspection Report notebook.
• Confirm job site address prior to departure.
• Maintain a clean truck interior and exterior.
• Responsible for the process of loading, handling, delivering and unloading of the product, including the slump, load tickets, revolutions, chutes, admixes, etc.
• Perform post‑trip inspection, notifying plant manager of maintenance needs.
• Understand and/or knowledge with operation of Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
