Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Mixer Operator to deliver ready mix concrete and provide excellent customer service at job sites. You will operate concrete mixer trucks (Class A/B CDL), perform pre-trip inspections, maintain records, and coordinate with dispatch while upholding safety standards.

You’ll join a community-focused team with local routes, home daily, and opportunities for pay bonuses and annual raises. Prior mixer or delivery experience is a plus, but motivated newcomers are welcome.

Qualifications

• Active Class A or B CDL with current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record and a commitment to safety.
• Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in all weather.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous Mixer Operator/Ready Mix Driver experience is a plus, but motivated newcomers welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet specs and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every job site.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols to protect yourself and others.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records; coordinate with dispatch and plant teams.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and the public.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
