• Bakery mixing or food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read formulas, batch sheets, and production schedules.
• Basic math, ingredient scaling, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and food safety.
• Able to lift 50-lb bags and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow formulas, batch sheets, and production schedules.
• Accurately weigh, verify, and stage ingredients before mixing.
• Operate mixers using established procedures, correct sequences, speeds, and times.
• Monitor dough temperature, hydration, consistency, and development to meet specs.
• Safely discharge and deliver dough to production on schedule.
• Coordinate with divider, molder, and makeup operators to maintain flow.
• Inspect equipment, monitor performance, and report issues.
• Perform adjustments and assist with preventive maintenance.
• Clean and sanitize mixers, bowls, tools, and work areas.
• Follow GMPs, HACCP, allergen controls, sanitation, and safety standards.

Talent Team is seeking a reliable MIXER OPERATOR, WITH EXPERIENCE, to join a stable and growing Food Production company in Salt Lake City. HEAVY LIFTERS are welcome to apply! Rotating Shift Every 3 Weeks.: 1: 00 AM 9: 30 AM. Sunday -Thursday. Then, 9: 15 AM 6: 00 PM. Monday - Friday Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

MIXER OPERATOR Role Purpose

Operate and maintain bakery mixing equipment to produce consistent, high-quality dough that meets product specifications and production schedules while following all food safety and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow formulas, batch sheets, and production schedules.
• Accurately weigh, verify, and stage ingredients before mixing.
• Operate mixers using established procedures, correct ingredient sequences, speeds, and mixing times.
• Monitor dough temperature, hydration, consistency, and development to meet specifications.
• Safely discharge and deliver dough to production on schedule.
• Coordinate with divider, molder, and makeup operators to maintain production flow.
• Inspect equipment before operation, monitor performance, and report mechanical issues.
• Perform authorized adjustments and assist with preventive maintenance.
• Clean and sanitize mixers, bowls, tools, and work areas.
• Follow GMPs, HACCP, allergen controls, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety standards.
• Maintain accurate batch records and communicate ingredient, equipment, and quality concerns to supervisors.
