Atlas Staffing is hiring a Production Bakery Mixer in Nampa, Idaho. The Mixer will prepare and mix ingredients according to recipes and production specifications to support daily bakery operations. This role requires the ability to safely operate mixing equipment, follow food safety procedures, and lift at least 50 pounds.

Applicants should be able to stand for extended periods and work a morning shift. Previous bakery or food production experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks during the shift.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions including recipes.
• Attention to accurate ingredient measurements and food safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Responsibilities

• Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes.
• Operate industrial mixing equipment to prepare dough and bakery products.
• Follow production schedules and maintain product quality.
• Monitor ingredient quantities and mixing times.
• Load ingredients and move materials in the production area.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Clean equipment and work areas.
• Follow supervisors' instructions and production procedures.

Pay: $18.00 to $18.00/hr

• Day Shift: Hours: 4:30am-12:30pm (Days off: Sunday & Thursday)


• Overnight: Hours: 9:00pm–5:30am (Days off: Monday & Friday)

Job Responsibilities

• Measure, weigh, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production specifications.


• Operate industrial mixing equipment to prepare dough and other bakery products.


• Follow production schedules and maintain consistent product quality.


• Monitor ingredient quantities, mixing times, and product consistency.


• Load ingredients into mixing equipment and move materials throughout the production area.


• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.


• Clean and maintain mixing equipment and work areas.


• Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to established production procedures.


• Perform additional bakery production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

This position operates in a production bakery plant and may involve exposure to flour dust, varying temperatures, loud equipment, and wet or slippery surfaces. Employees must follow all required safety, sanitation, and personal protective equipment procedures.
