Job summary

Dessert Holdings – Le Center, MN is seeking a dependable Mixer Operator to join the cake and cheesecake manufacturing team. This role involves measuring and mixing ingredients to produce high-quality batters, fillings, and icings while meeting production, quality, and food safety standards.

The position requires following recipes, maintaining accuracy on production records, and working in a fast-paced environment. Evening hours are early morning shifts with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or bakery is preferred.

Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We are looking for a dependable Mixer Operator to join our cake and cheesecake manufacturing team. This position is responsible for accurately measuring and mixing ingredients to produce high-quality batters, fillings, and icings while meeting production, quality, and food safety standards.

• Mix ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
• Operate mixers, scales, and other production equipment.
• Follow formulas, GMPs, food safety, and safety procedures.

• Report equipment issues to supervisors.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

• Previous food manufacturing or bakery experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

• Food manufacturing facility producing cakes and cheesecakes.
• Exposure to allergens including milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts.
