Responsibilities

• Operate mixing equipment to prepare materials per formulas and specs.

• Set up and adjust mixing equipment per SOPs.
• Inspect equipment and report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Record batch data and update travelers as required.
• Communicate production issues and material shortages to Lead Mixer.
• Collaborate with production staff to meet schedules.

About the Role:

TBT GROUP INC is looking for a skilled Mixer Operator to join our manufacturing team in Bellmawr, NJ. This is a hands-on opportunity to be a key part of our production process in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Shift Differential: $.50

Responsibilities:

• Operate mixing equipment to prepare materials according to established formulas, batch instructions, and production specifications.
• Measure, weigh, and combine raw materials accurately to ensure product consistency and quality.
• Monitor mixing times, temperatures, and processing conditions to meet established production requirements.
• Set up, adjust, and operate mixing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and report malfunctions or performance issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance to maintain safe and efficient operations.
• Identify and report material discrepancies, product defects, and quality concerns.
• Ensure required raw materials and supplies are available for assigned production tasks.
• Maintain accurate production records, complete batch documentation, and update production travelers as required.
• Follow established safety procedures, quality standards, and Company policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Properly handle, label, and store raw materials and finished products in accordance with Company procedures
• Communicate production issues, material shortages, and equipment concerns to the Lead Mixer Operator or Shop Supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with other production personnel to meet production schedules and quality objectives.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the Lead Mixer or the Company.

Requirements:

• Prior experience operating Mixer equipment or similar industrial machinery preferred but not required
• Familiarity with powder metallurgy or compaction processes is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
