Hy-Vee’s Bakery Manufacturing division seeks a Bakery Mixer to join the production team. The role involves mixing ingredients, maintaining line pace to meet quotas, ensuring quality, and preparing ingredients for the next day’s run.
The mixer also handles cleanup, records temperatures, and reports equipment issues to supervision. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and can perform arithmetic, follow instructions, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Must have the ability to exert in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally; exert in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently; exert in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Visual requirement include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without corrective, depth perception, color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), and field of vision. Must be able to perform the following physical activities: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, felling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
This position exposed to noise, equipment movement hazards from production lines and pallet jacks, temperature extremes, dangerous chemical/solvents, and electrical shock. This is a fast paced work environment.
