Job summary

VersaPro Restoration & Construction in Livonia, MI is hiring a Water Restoration Technician to respond to water damage emergencies at residential and commercial sites across Metro Detroit. You will work with our team, using provided tools and training to restore properties efficiently.

Responsibilities include performing restoration tasks, monitoring progress, documenting details, communicating with customers, and participating in on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Prior experience in maintenance, construction, or related fields preferred.
• Familiarity with power tools and restoration equipment.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and follow procedures precisely.
• Industry certifications and licenses are a plus and may be provided based on performance, leadership, and reliability.

• Conduct final job inspections, obtain customer approval and signatures, and request payments when applicable.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency response.
• Maintain accurate and thorough job documentation—this is critical.
