Job summary

SERVPRO of Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Senior Mitigation/Restoration Project Manager to lead residential and commercial restoration projects from start to finish. You will direct crews, manage scopes, and coordinate with customers, insurers, and suppliers to ensure timely, on-budget completions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on restoration experience, strong leadership, and the ability to move jobs efficiently through all phases, including after-hours responses when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of restoration industry experience.
• Experience with water mitigation/restoration strongly preferred.
• 1+ year of management, project management, or supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of Xactimate strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple residential and commercial mitigation/restoration projects from start to finish.
• Oversee water, fire, mold, storm, and other emergency restoration projects.
• Develop accurate scopes of work and prepare estimates using Xactimate.
• Review and negotiate project scope and pricing with customers, adjusters, insurance representatives, and other clients.
• Schedule, coordinate, and supervise technicians, crews, subcontractors, equipment, and project resources.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
• Monitor job profitability, labor, equipment usage, materials, and production costs.
• Maintain complete and accurate job documentation for billing and insurance requirements.
• Communicate regularly with customers regarding project status, expectations, and next steps.
• Provide exceptional customer service and help drive positive reviews and referrals.

SERVPRO of Fort Lauderdale is immediately hiring an experienced Senior Mitigation/Restoration Project Manager to join our growing team.

We are looking for a proven restoration professional with hands‑on industry experience who can step into a leadership role and effectively manage residential and commercial water, fire, mold, and storm restoration projects.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who understands the restoration industry, can manage multiple projects and crews, communicates confidently with customers and insurance professionals, and knows how to move jobs efficiently from initial response through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple residential and commercial mitigation/restoration projects from start to finish
• Oversee water, fire, mold, storm, and other emergency restoration projects
• Develop accurate scopes of work and prepare estimates using Xactimate
• Review and negotiate project scope and pricing with customers, adjusters, insurance representatives, and other clients
• Schedule, coordinate, and supervise technicians, crews, subcontractors, equipment, and project resources

• Respond to emergency service opportunities and assist with after‑hours response when necessary
• Train, mentor, and develop technicians and other restoration team members
• Ensure company vehicles, equipment, and other assets are properly maintained and utilized
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, urgency, and operational excellence

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of restoration industry experience required
• Experience with water mitigation/restoration strongly preferred
• 1+ year of management, project management, or supervisory experience
• Working knowledge of Xactimate strongly preferred
• IICRC certifications preferred, including WRT, ASD, and/or AMRT
• Strong understanding of mitigation procedures, drying principles, documentation, and restoration industry standards
• Proven ability to manage multiple active projects and priorities
• Strong leadership and team‑management skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable communicating and negotiating with insurance adjusters and other industry professionals
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a background check in accordance with applicable law

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Ability to work in crawl spaces, attics, and other confined spaces
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying
• Ability to work around restoration equipment, cleaning products, and active job sites
• Ability to participate in after‑hours and emergency response as needed
