Job summary

SERVPRO of Plant City is seeking an experienced Crew Chief to lead restoration crews on water, fire, and mold projects from start to finish. You’ll supervise job sites, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with Project Managers and customers to keep work on schedule.

Ideal candidates have crew supervision experience, IICRC certifications, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities for advancement and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, mitigation, construction, or demolition preferred.
• Leadership or crew supervision experience a plus.
• IICRC certifications (WRT/ASD/AMRT, etc.) preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work after-hours, weekends, and on-call shifts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews on restoration projects for residential and commercial sites.
• Manage job sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to SERVPRO standards.
• Perform water mitigation, fire cleanup, mold remediation, demolition, and related services.
• Load, maintain, and organize company vehicles, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare work areas and set up equipment for each project.
• Communicate with Project Managers, Supervisors, customers, and team members to stay on schedule.
• Complete job documentation and maintain a clean, professional work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices.

SERVPRO of Plant City/ NE Hillsborough/ Tampa East Central is looking for a dependable, motivated Crew Chief to lead water, fire, mold, and storm restoration jobs from start to finish.

What You'll Do

• Lead crews on residential and commercial restoration projects.
• Manage job sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to SERVPRO standards.

What We're Looking For

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working around cleaning agents, restoration equipment, and job site conditions.
• Ability to travel locally and occasionally out of state when business needs require.
• Must successfully pass a background check and meet company driving requirements.
