Job summary

Paul Davis is seeking a Mitigation Project Manager in New York City to lead mitigation projects from initial loss through dry-out and transition to reconstruction. You will conduct inspections, define scopes, and coordinate crews, equipment, and vendors.

Responsibilities include maintaining complete project documentation, communicating with customers, property managers, adjusters, and stakeholders, and managing budgets, timelines, change orders, and project closeout.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing mitigation and repairs projects in NYC.
  • Significant experience with water, fire, mold, and contents.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, and job sequencing.
  • Proficiency with technology and adaptability to new software.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • IICRC certification (WRT) required.

  • 2-3 years of managing restoration projects end to end
Preferred
  • Restoration or insurance-related construction experience
  • Estimating experience or familiarity with Xactimate and Cotality (a plus, not required)
  • Additional IICRC certifications (ASD, FSRT)
