Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Mitigation Project Manager to lead and oversee water, mold, and other property damage restoration projects. In this role, you will manage the mitigation process from start to finish, ensuring quality work, safety compliance, excellent customer communication, and profitability. This position is ideal for someone with restoration experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading teams in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the full scope of mitigation projects, including water, mold, biohazard, and storm-related damages
• Conduct initial site inspections, develop scopes of work, and prepare job estimates using industry-standard tools (e.g., Xactimate)
• Communicate effectively with property owners, insurance adjusters, and internal teams throughout the lifecycle of each project
• Supervise and support production crews to ensure timely, high-quality work and adherence to IICRC standards
• Track project progress, adjust schedules as needed, and ensure proper documentation of all phases of the job
• Ensure safety protocols are followed by all personnel on-site
• Monitor job costs and manage profitability through accurate tracking of labor, materials, and equipment
• Oversee job closeout, including walkthroughs, documentation, and final billing

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience in water mitigation/restoration project management preferred
• Strong knowledge of IICRC standards, mitigation procedures, and drying techniques
• Proficient with Xactimate and other restoration industry software
• Ability to read and interpret estimates, scopes, and insurance protocols
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends during emergency events
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• IICRC WRT, ASD, or other relevant certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
