Job summary

ERX Emergency Restoration Experts is seeking a full-time Mitigation Technician to assess, rebuild, and restore homes and businesses after disasters. You will join an emergency response team, using hand and power tools to deliver high-quality mitigation work and exceptional customer service.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and flexibility to work overtime on short notice, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Must have valid unrestricted driver's license.
• Able to use a smartphone/tablet and relevant software.
• Willing to work overtime, including after hours, weekends, or holidays.
• Experience in demolition/restoration and basic carpentry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in disaster response activities.
• Repair and restore the structure.
• Remove and replace damaged drywall and plumbing materials.
• Work with supervisor to keep the team unified and efficient.

Role Description

We are looking to hire a full-time Mitigation Technicians that exceeds customer Xpectations while assessing, rebuilding, and restoring homes and businesses after man-made and natural disasters. You will be tasked creating superior customer XPERIENCE. Mitigation Technicians accomplish this by a commitment to be part of an emergency response team, physical strength and stamina and proficiency with using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Be able to interact with customers in disaster response activities.
• Mitigation Technicians will be responsible to repair and restore the structure.
• Mitigation Technicians are responsible for removal and replacement of damage drywall, Plumbing, and related materials.
• Working with your direct supervisor to ensure the team is unified and efficient.
• Mitigation Technicians are responsible for execution and implementation of appropriate mitigation procedures, as necessary, and following up as required to assure excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Attention to details in organization, cleanliness and care for facility, assets, and equipment.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license.
• Basic tech skills to use a smartphone/tablet and relevant software.
• Availability to work overtime in response to emergency situations, which may include after hours, weekends, or holidays.
• Experience in demolition, the restoration industry, and basic carpentry skills preferred but not required.

Physical Environment
