Job summary

Emergency Restoration Experts (ERX) in Charlotte, NC is looking for a full-time Mitigation Technician to assess, rebuild, and restore homes and businesses after disasters. You will be part of an emergency response team, using hand and power tools, with a focus on delivering superior customer experience.

Ideal candidates have basic carpentry skills, attention to detail, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Attention to details in organization, cleanliness and care for facility, assets, and equipment.
• Basic tech skills to use a smartphone/tablet and relevant software.
• Availability to work overtime in response to emergency situations, including after hours.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in disaster response activities.
• Repair and restore the structure.
• Removal and replacement of damaged drywall, plumbing, and related materials.
• Work with your direct supervisor to ensure the team is unified and efficient.
• Execute mitigation procedures and follow up to assure excellent customer service.

Role Description

We are looking to hire a full-time Mitigation Technicians that exceeds customer Xpectations while assessing, rebuilding, and restoring homes and businesses after man-made and natural disasters. You will be tasked creating superior customer XPERIENCE. Mitigation Technicians accomplish this by a commitment to be part of an emergency response team, physical strength and stamina and proficiency with using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Be able to interact with customers in disaster response activities.


• Mitigation Technicians will be responsible to repair and restore the structure.


• Mitigation Technicians are responsible for removal and replacement of damage drywall, Plumbing, and related materials.


• Working with your direct supervisor to ensure the team is unified and efficient.


• Mitigation Technicians are responsible for execution and implementation of appropriate mitigation procedures, as necessary, and following up as required to assure excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Attention to details in organization, cleanliness and care for facility, assets, and equipment.


• Valid unrestricted driver's license.


• Basic tech skills to use a smartphone/tablet and relevant software.


• Availability to work overtime in response to emergency situations, which may include after hours, weekends, or holidays.


• Experience in demolition, the restoration industry, and basic carpentry skills preferred but not required.
