Job summary

Emergency Restoration Experts (ERX) in Asheville, NC seeks a full-time Mitigation Technician to restore homes and businesses after disasters, while delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will join our emergency response team and use hand and power tools with physical stamina.

Responsibilities include interacting with customers, repairing structures, removing and replacing damaged drywall and plumbing, and coordinating with your supervisor to stay efficient and deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Attention to details in organization and care for facility, assets, and equipment.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license.
• Basic tech skills to use a smartphone/tablet and relevant software.
• Availability to work overtime in response to emergency situations, which may include after hours, weekends, or holidays.
• Experience in demolition, restoration industry, and basic carpentry preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Role Description

We are looking to hire a full-time Mitigation Technicians that exceeds customer Xpectations while assessing, rebuilding, and restoring homes and businesses after man-made and natural disasters. You will be tasked creating superior customer XPERIENCE. Mitigation Technicians accomplish this by a commitment to be part of an emergency response team, physical strength and stamina and proficiency with using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Be able to interact with customers in disaster response activities.


• Mitigation Technicians will be responsible to repair and restore the structure.


• Mitigation Technicians are responsible for removal and replacement of damage drywall, Plumbing, and related materials.


• Working with your direct supervisor to ensure the team is unified and efficient.


• Mitigation Technicians are responsible for execution and implementation of appropriate mitigation procedures, as necessary, and following up as required to assure excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Attention to details in organization, cleanliness and care for facility, assets, and equipment.


• Valid unrestricted driver's license.


• Basic tech skills to use a smartphone/tablet and relevant software.


• Availability to work overtime in response to emergency situations, which may include after hours, weekends, or holidays.


• Experience in demolition, the restoration industry, and basic carpentry skills preferred but not required.


• Monday – Friday 8AM-5PM Consistent Schedule


• A few month events where food is provided

Physical Environment

• Physical ability to lift 80 lbs. and comfortable standing on your feet for prolonged periods of time. Ability to work within non-climate-controlled environments.
