Job summary

DM Injury Law in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate to handle all aspects of workers’ compensation cases from opening to resolution.

This full-time role offers base salary plus quarterly performance bonuses, with an uncapped origination bonus and no billable-hour requirements; top performers earn total compensation well above the stated range. Qualifications

• Active Missouri Bar license required.
• At least 1 year of workers’ compensation experience preferred; strong litigation background considered.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint) and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate with clients to provide updates and claim status throughout their matter.
• Interact and negotiate with insurance companies on behalf of clients.
• Draft case materials, correspondence, pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure accuracy of all documents prepared by you and your team.
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings.
• Provide direction and supervision to non-attorney staff in compliance with all workers’ compensation laws and regulations.
