Job summary

bbg talent acquisitions seeks a Modeling & Simulation Engineer to support DoD programs in Lincoln, MA / Hanscom AFB. The role emphasizes modeling, mission analysis, MBSE, and digital engineering with a strong focus on quantitative analysis and decision-support.

The position is primarily onsite with limited remote flexibility, offering a compensation range of $75,000 to $170,000 annually based on experience and depth of technical work. Citizenship and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship required.
Active DoD Secret clearance required.
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, CS, or related field.
Experience in modeling & simulation, systems engineering, mission engineering, digital engineering, quantitative analysis, or systems integration.
Experience with MATLAB, Python, Simulink, or equivalent tools.

Responsibilities

Develop, execute, maintain, and analyze models and simulations for defense and mission-system problems.
Build models of system behavior, mission performance, and interactions.
Perform analytics at engineering, system, or mission level.
Document methodology, results, and assumptions.
Translate results into actionable recommendations for decision-makers.
