Job summary

Central Strategies, LLC seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead MBSE and mission-level modeling for Coast Guard enterprise modernization. You will translate operations concepts into SysML/UAF artifacts, build Cameo models, and run simulations with AFSIM, MATLAB/Simulink, and Ansys STK to inform acquisition decisions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with leadership, enterprise architects, cybersecurity, and stakeholders to ensure alignment across mission systems and platforms through lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Physics, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of related experience, or 6–10 years with a Master’s degree.
• Demonstrated MBSE experience in Cameo EA/Modeler (SysML/UAF/UAFML).
• Hands-on modeling and simulation using AFSIM, MATLAB/Simulink, and Ansys STK.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering and modeling & simulation support for Coast Guard digital transformation and mission analysis initiatives.
• Translate operational requirements into traceable SysML/UAF/UAFML artifacts for digital engineering and architecture decisions.
• Build and maintain enterprise and system architecture models in Cameo EA/Modeler with queries and trade studies.
• Develop and execute mission-level modeling and simulation analyses using AFSIM, MATLAB/Simulink, and Ansys STK to evaluate concepts, performance, and mission effectiveness.
• Apply digital mission engineering to connect architecture, analyses, and simulations into an integrated analytical environment for decision-making.
• Design simulation scenarios, MOEs/MOPs, run simulations, and produce defensible findings.
