Full Time: 4‑5 days onsite – with flexible start and end times.
The Wingbrace Digital Engineering Team is charged with identifying, developing, and applying new technologies that can address the Government's most challenging software and systems engineering problems. We offer 3 weeks vacation, sick time, health, dental and vision, a 401(k) plan with 4% match, 10 holidays, 2 floating holidays, a bonus program, and telehealth / mental health coverage.
This position provides challenging opportunities to apply and expand your Systems Engineering experience, modeling, simulation, and analytical skills. The role involves system of systems digital artifact capture, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) development, problem space and architecture modeling, simulation and co-simulation, data analytics, data visualization, analysis of complex systems, and decision support. You will present to senior leaders, collaborate with a growth-oriented team, and influence client direction.
Responsibilities
- Model architectures of complex systems using digital engineering modeling notations (mostly SysML and UAF).
- Program system parametric models and simulate system performance characteristics using tools like MATLAB, Jupyter Notebooks and other fit‑for‑purpose applications.
- Support development, configuration management, and maintenance of MBSE artifacts, model interfaces, modeling plug‑in and tool updates across multiple model baselines and classification levels for full‑life‑cycle product development – architecture and design, system development, integration, test, acceptance, and field support.
- Translate customer needs and future goals into plans, craft model‑based approaches and evolve them with advanced technology solutions.
- Plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex systems solutions.
- Support analysis and develop actions to address operational gaps.
- Support requirements management, interface management and architecture change management processes using tools like Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud and Siemens Teamcenter.
