Full Time: 4‑5 days onsite – with flexible start and end times.

The Wingbrace Digital Engineering Team is charged with identifying, developing, and applying new technologies that can address the Government's most challenging software and systems engineering problems. We offer 3 weeks vacation, sick time, health, dental and vision, a 401(k) plan with 4% match, 10 holidays, 2 floating holidays, a bonus program, and telehealth / mental health coverage.

This position provides challenging opportunities to apply and expand your Systems Engineering experience, modeling, simulation, and analytical skills. The role involves system of systems digital artifact capture, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) development, problem space and architecture modeling, simulation and co-simulation, data analytics, data visualization, analysis of complex systems, and decision support. You will present to senior leaders, collaborate with a growth-oriented team, and influence client direction.

Responsibilities
  • Model architectures of complex systems using digital engineering modeling notations (mostly SysML and UAF).
  • Program system parametric models and simulate system performance characteristics using tools like MATLAB, Jupyter Notebooks and other fit‑for‑purpose applications.
  • Support development, configuration management, and maintenance of MBSE artifacts, model interfaces, modeling plug‑in and tool updates across multiple model baselines and classification levels for full‑life‑cycle product development – architecture and design, system development, integration, test, acceptance, and field support.
  • Translate customer needs and future goals into plans, craft model‑based approaches and evolve them with advanced technology solutions.
  • Plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex systems solutions.
  • Support analysis and develop actions to address operational gaps.
  • Support requirements management, interface management and architecture change management processes using tools like Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud and Siemens Teamcenter.
  • Develop and drive model taxonomy and ontology consensus with stakeholders.
  • Estimate, plan, schedule, and execute data collection and engineering activities.
  • Support proposal efforts.
  • Organize work activities, monitor and mentor teammates and clients in developing modeling artifacts.
  • Assist with stakeholder communications, respond to taskers, participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), brief external organizations and prepare technical assessments (e.g., trade‑offs and gap analysis).
  • Assist with status reports and transfer knowledge to Government clients.
  • Assist with identification of mission assurance risks, impacts, opportunities and artifact generation for compliance.
  • Support the development of data analytics pipelines using data lake and data warehouse architectures with data analysis (Python, R) and visualization.
Qualifications – Required
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must hold a minimum Secret U.S. DoD clearance; TS level is anticipated.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with demonstrable software development experience.
  • Up to 3 years of experience with product development or Systems Engineering and integration projects (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering, developing and documenting systems of systems using SysML and/or UAF.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills for technical presentations.
  • Referenceable project‑based experience in a team environment.
Preferred
  • Familiarity with MBSE tools and plugins such as Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, Cameo Cloud Collaborator, Sparx Enterprise Architect, and/or Rational Rhapsody.
  • Data profiling, transformation, and modeling experience.
