Job summary

Prescient Edge in Patuxent River, MD seeks a Minotaur Systems and Information Technology Specialist (MSITS) to analyze complex architectures and requirements within MMS and other mission systems.

You will apply software engineering practices to plan, develop, maintain and validate core software and sensor baselines, collaborating with the CIO, team leads and cross-functional colleagues to execute development initiatives.

Qualifications

• AS in Computer Engineering/Science, Information Technology or equivalent, or 8+ years’ experience in technical aviation, surface, or ground-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software & hardware architectures, designs and functional requirements for mission systems.
• Develop system requirements.
• Develop scripts for mission system applications.
• Update software applications and patches.
• Support installation, configuration and test of mission systems across hardware configurations.
• Develop and conduct unit, integration, and system tests.
• Develop technical documentation and reports.
