Job summary

PMAT seeks a Minotaur Software Engineer to contribute to world-class software in a high-visibility DoD environment. You’ll support a fielded system for U.S. Navy Pacific Fleet operations, ensuring operational readiness, coordinating with operators, and briefing Navy leadership.

You will be part of a seasoned team, both on and off site, developing advanced capabilities for national security in a remote U.S. setting; travel may be required for events and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with Minotaur Mission Management System.
• 5+ years as a Software Engineer.
• 5+ years experience in C++, Java, JavaScript in Linux.
• CCNA level knowledge expected.
• Working knowledge of military tactical data links.
• Experience applying STIGs.
• Experience supporting DoD.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a close team.
• Impact-focused leadership and mission-oriented mindset.
• Passion for ensuring mission success.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux/UNIX systems via CLI.
• Configure and manage Cisco network devices (L2/L3).
• Troubleshoot hardware and debug GUIs from logs and XML configurations.
• Apply STIGs per DoD requirements on RHEL and Windows.
• Build and configure physical and virtual servers with partners.
• Support operations with military data links knowledge.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and diagrams.
• Provide system overview briefs and demonstrations as needed.
